On April 29, 2009 Kansas Governor Kathleen Sebelius was sworn in as Secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). During her first few weeks in office Sebelius has been busy, handling issues ranging from health care reform to the recent H1N1 flu outbreak.
